About this app

The RealLife Exp app is part of a system designed to interact with you throughout the day. Use it to download LifePaks created by experts using the LifeData web application and then begin interacting with the content throughout your day. LifePaks are used for a variety of purposes. Some involve experience sampling so that researchers can better understand your daily experiences. Others gather patient reported outcomes for healthcare providers who want to track how you are doing. And in some cases, LifePaks are designed to help you grow in a particular area. The underlying technology for this app was designed by behavioral scientists, and opens up new possibilities for understanding and change.

I used this app for a clinical trial. The goal was to prompt me at certain times of the day to answer questions, and it did not do this well or consistently. Frequently, even while being on my phone for the entire hour the notification was valid, I wouldn't be notified. I would then be marked as missing the notification, making it appear I was non-adherent and causing the researchers to miss out on data for their trial. Other apps have figured out how to consistently push notifications through

This app was not really for deploy. Like others, the disappearing notificatios that also make the task disappear forever is terrible. The whole thing is clucky, hideous, and poorly organized. This is mental health app? It's trying to make people crazy.

I use this app for clinical trials. At first it was ok but as the days turned to weeks I was absolutely sick of it. The question generated by the research group were vague and didn't allow for deeper explanation. I hope it has provided adequate information.
