Motorola File Manager helps you handle all your files whether they are stored in your device's main storage or microSD card.
-File category - Browse files easily by category right from Motorola File Manager’s home screen: picture, music, videos, archive, documents and recent files. It’s quick and easy to access files in each category.
-File operations - allows you to copy, move, rename, delete, compress and decompress ZIP files, create encrypted ZIP files and share files.
-Storage info - Easily see the location of each category file and the SD card usage.
-One key transfer - One click to transfer all picture, music and video files from the phone’s internal storage to the external SD card. Transferred files are stored in the FileBrowser folder in the external SD card.
-Global search - Search in all folders and files of the device.
-Remote Management - Conveniently browse files on the device from your computer with remote management.

This app is a nice and simple file manager. It provides access to the Android file folders, but it also organizes common file types so you don't need to go hunting through cryptic Android OS folders. It was months before I noticed how to multi-select (press hold the first file and click on the icon for each of the rest). There should be a small help screen to describe how to use this app. I'm glad I found it on Play. I use this app all the time as a way to multi-select and email photos.

Terrible. Doesn't have "select all" feature for moving files from internal to external storage, does not have any option to set default save place, uses a circle icon design which doesn't work in a file manager which should be a square or rectangle so we can see what's there. needs to be more feature rich. it has potential, though at this moment in time has been badly neglected and still fails at being truly useful.

It's alright, but the user interface is ugly and there's still some things you can't do, like reorganize the View of the files or Rename files without a lot of effort and doing them one by one. More options are needed for this file manager, and right now, it's only a little bit better than the horrible default file manager this Motorola G6 Play comes with.
