First it only allowed me to take the test. The test was full of spots where non-adjustable mistakes could be made throwing the resuts way off. It asked for my age. I had the option of 2 answers <20 something or between 30-and maybe 39? I couldn't change it, I'm 62 yrs old. The sound part starts with very little warning. The first part for my left ear is not accurate. There are no restart, back or pause bottons. If your a little slow answering, another error. There are lots of mistakes in this.

Works great. Obviously not a substitute for an audiologist but it's pretty close and a good indicator. My ENT and audiologist actually appreciated the data from this app and told me to contribute to use it to track recovery progress. I'm not sure why low ratings but try either updating your phone software or get a newer device. Also unpair and repair your Bluetooth headset. Make sure your headset can produce the required frequencies.

Useful for a general impression of your hearing health. More information on the source of figures for the general population groups offered for age comparison would be helpful. Also, no way of calibrating the app for use under varying conditions, eg different earphone sets.
