About this app

The Companion App to the Betrayal at House on the Hill 3rd Edition board game is an easy-to-use tool to manage your game in real time! Use the app to keep track of character stats, including Omens, Items, and other aspects of gameplay. When a haunt is launched, the app can quickly guide the setup and execution. Also included is a helpful quick reference that provides pointers to specific page numbers in the rulebook and the haunt books.

Ratings and reviews

Everything is so user-friendly compared to some of the older apps made for this game. Great looks with plenty of details, combined with a nice background noise. Also love that they updated very quickly with the expansion pack content. The only issue I have currently with the app is that the expansion character can only be selected in the app when using one of the expansion haunts: she should be selectable regardless of which haunt card is used, but she should only change in the new haunts.

The app works, but has limited content. It would be nice if the app had ALL haunt details in it, but knowing how current events are playing out, that will never happen (#opendnd). Just used the app for the first time today and it failed to preserve data when closing the app, or changing apps. The app often black screens when doing this, and won't recover till the app is restarted (losing all session data). I would advise finding a third party solution, cause this solution is poorly implemented.

Perfect if you don't want to use the character cards, since it keeps up with the stats, and it also helps out with info on cards and special actions on the haunt and item and omen cards. It also helps that it has different languages. This can help out with players who don't know the language that comes in your copy of the game
