Ratings and reviews

I primarily use this app to download my main music playlist from youtube. The problem is that some songs that play fine on the youtube app don't play on youtube music, and sometimes it outright grabs the wrong version of the song when it decides to use an auto-generated song over the video's audio. The first one's just region blocking being annoying, but the second one could be solved by giving me the option to download the auto-generated song instead of outright replacing it without my input.

The app has improved a lot over the years. It's my go-to music app now, and I dig the new features. The discovery thing is dope, especially when I'm not sure what to listen to. It's cool that your YouTube playlists sync with YouTube Music, so you can jam to your tunes on both apps. And the music/video toggle is sick, you can watch music videos right in the app. The sound quality is decent, but I wish they had lossless audio playback and 16/24-bit high fidelity audio streaming and download.

YouTube music is good.. However, this app lags really bad when you log on or try going back onto the app. It needs some kind of improvement with speed. :) Edit: I don't know if it's my phone, but the app still plays music when the app is closed. Plus, the audio glitches out which makes it impossible to hear music. (The audio works for other apps but not here?)
