About this game

Scala 40 is a card game derived from Rummy.

The objective is, by drawing and discarding, to collect sets of three or more equal cards and/or sequences of three or more cards in suit.
The winner is the player who manages to 'close' the game by melding all his or her cards but one, and discarding the final card.
In order to meld for the first time (known as opening), you must put down sets and/or sequences from your hand with a total value of at least 40 points (the name of the game - Scala 40 - refers to this minimum).

Great game I have played Kalooki which is a very similar rummy game, played by dock workmen and sailors. Two packs of cards No joker Points up to 301 or 501 When you lay all cards down, the losers double their losing card points and Aces are 15 points. To developer please add these options if you can. Apart from that excellent game.

It's great but I have a few questions, why is loosing with the whole hand not worth a 100 points, why can you discard a card that can substitute a joker but not a playable card? Why can't you change a card from the discard pile after opening your game? Why is the ace not worth 1 point when you only have that card? I ask this as those are rule I learnt to play with.
