To process transactions, you must have a merchant services account with Chase, install the Chase Mobile Checkout app on your mobile device and use a mobile card reader from Chase. In order to pair your mobile device with the reader, it must meet minimum requirements of Android 6.0 and Bluetooth® 4.2. Businesses are required to complete an application and agree to terms and conditions at the time of enrollment. All businesses are subject to credit approval. Merchant services are provided by Paymentech, LLC (“Chase”), a subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A.

There is no charge to download this app, but depending on your merchant service account terms, there may be charges associated with the purchase and shipment of the card reader. When using the app, message and data rates may apply. Such charges include, but are not limited to, those from your communications service provider. In addition, all applicable processing fees outlined in the merchant services contract with Chase will be assessed for all transactions initiated through the app.

Transaction processing may be interrupted for various reasons, including service outages affecting your smartphone or tablet, wireless or Internet provider, technology failures, and system capacity limitations.

This system is unusable. Super glitchy. Makes me input a "one-time" pin and create a new complicated password every time I log in. Only connects to the reader they provided half the time. When it does, it has trouble authorizing payments even with a very solid signal. Extremely embarrassing when I'm standing in front of a customer trying to process their payment.

Bad performance after the last update. I process a lot of credit cards. I'm sitting here trying to open the app several times in front of a customer and it keeps telling me that something appears to have gone wrong? It's even sketchy communicating with the processing device that you guys sold me. Fix it or I'm finding another service provider, soon. And last but not least, I no longer receive notifications after processing a transaction. No confirmations what so ever. It's only gotten worse..

Was working fine until an automatic update around September 25. Just like Oby C said, it takes 2 to 3 tries just to load the app ("something went wrong"...huh?). No matter what I do, I no longer get a merchant receipt. Sometimes no customer copy. Tech service tells me to delete the app and reinstall it, which is worthless. My business rep says they fixed it (NOT!). It's embarrasing to have so many problems in front of customers.
