MergeTV is a streaming service available to FOCUS Broadband customers in North Carolina and allows customers to use their FOCUS Broadband Internet service to stream a lineup of the most popular local channels and national cable TV networks on a variety of devices without a digital cable box*. Most major streaming devices are supported, so you can watch your favorite programs and movies on your favorite devices*. MergeTV includes a host of popular features including: Video on Demand, Start Over and Cloud DVR. Start Over allows you to restart many of your favorite programs that have aired in the last 75 hours without setting a recording. MergeTV also includes up to 100 hours of Cloud DVR recording time with all packages at no extra charge. You can purchase additional time and get up to 300 hours. With MergeTV, you can also set up user profiles for the family based on your individual preferences and restrictions. MergeTV is a better way to watch TV and its available now from FOCUS Broadband.

Works pretty well so far. Main issue I have is with having Merge on 3 tv's. When you manage DVR entries on one TV (delete a video, for example) it doesn't reflect on the other Merge apps unless you perform a restart to force the app to reinitialize. Buffering is another issue even though I've got 500mbit inbound and the TV is on CAT6E direct to the router with no competition on the LAN.

Ongoing unresolved problem that appears after using the app for sometime. When selecting a live program from the guide, the only menu option presented is record or cancel. Unable to play. Only way to fix is to clear app data. At which point it is necessary to sign in with username and password. Which is probably the worst part of using streaming TV. This reoccurs ever few weeks to every few months. Using Kaon android set top box from Focus Broadband. Neighbors confirmed this problem also. TY.

No information just plays the show. If you just want to click on the show and find out about it without it playing, you can't do it on this app!! That makes no sense every other streaming app has an info methodology this one apparently doesn't.
