With our app you can book a flight, select a seat, or change your seats before you depart. We will get you through the airport faster with mobile check-in up to 24 hours before your flight. You can also save time by using our app as your boarding pass, no more kiosks or lines, just use your phone to get through the security check point at the airport.

Keep track of your flight information including flight schedule, boarding time, and airport gate changes. Share your travel itinerary with friends and family via email. Receive information about flight delays and more with push notifications.

When you’re at the airport you can keep an eye on First Class and Standby wait lists. You can change your plans to get on an earlier or later flight. We will also send you a notification, telling you if there’s an earlier flight available for you once you've arrived at the airport.

We also offer calendar integration for smartphones, so that you can add your travel information to your calendar. You can track your Mileage Plan™ balance and then use those miles towards flights you can buy on the app, including Award travel.

Ratings and reviews

App is easy to use for booking, viewing, and managing trips but it is NOT complete replacement for desktop website. It would be a big improvement, for example, if companion fares or wallet funds could be applied to new travel via the app but the app is well worth having just for easy access to paperless boarding pass. More importantly the airline is great to work with as well. Almost always great service and when if something does go wrong they are very good at making things right again.

This app made me enter a lot of personal information to check in and pay with credit card for a checked bag. Then when I tried to submit the payment, it didn't work, and came back with a connection error. I tried again, and got the same error. Finally I had to go to an attendant at the airport, who ended up having to text me my boarding pass. In short, this app wasted my time, didn't work, and gathered a bunch of my personal data.

I love Alaska Airlines in general, and their app has only gotten better with time. There are occasionally hiccups here and there, but honestly as of this writing the app is really solid, easy to use, consistent, and includes what you need. If you're flying regularly, there's no other way. Digital boarding pass, adjust your seats and flights, bookings, etc... It can do it all and isn't a painful or egregiously slow process.
