Word Shaker is a word searching game with a twist: words don't have to be in a straight line. Your goal is to earn the most points by finding words in a grid. Each letter has a particular point value, and you earn bonuses by forming longer words. If you enjoy word games like Scrabble and Boggle you'll love Word Shaker.

This game is as close to the boggle with friends game that I could find. I had to uninstall boggle with friends because games were freezing and taking my points. Also, too many ads & viruses, even after being scanned. I was sad when I had to stop playing it and glad when I discovered Word Shaker. This game has NO viral or freezing ADS. It doesn't freeze or lag. I can't play with friends, but it's relaxing and doesn't frustrate me like boggle.

I LOVE word games & this has become my fave app. Quality programming. Great GUI & Help. Thoughtful options. BTW to pause it, just minimize it. Someone mentioned an ad 'in the middle of the game.' I thought "Huh I never get ads during?" Oh, they meant the banner! Because it's smartly been used as a divider between the scoreboard & gameboard, I forget it's an ad. || Update: "Allow Duplicates" doesn't stick now. Even after just minimizing it. I have to uncheck, close, Force Stop, restart, re-check.

Love this game & Boggle! It's a nice way to keep your brain active & "charged", by seeking to make familiar letter connections into words & following basic rules to gain as many solutions as possible, quickly. Like forming something solid or recognizable from more randomized chaos, seeing a bigger picture ("forest") through a bunch of little pieces ("trees"). Perfect to play while waiting at dr appts, DMV or any other places, while in the tub or on break. :)
