Well, I tried it on my Pixel 7a and the shutter button for the camera just won't work, so, you tell me how good is a stop motion app that can't shoot photos? I get that Aardman may not have the time to develop the app themselves and just outsourced this to some cheap third party, but I think they should be more caring about their brand and ensure the minimum amount of QA for a product like this one. I really thought these people were all about high standards. Well, moving on to the next app :)

Thank you for getting in touch, we're sorry you're having issues with the app. We are aware of the current issue on Google Pixel phones and are working on a fix so will hopefully have it working soon.

Amazing. So easy, so much fun. Love this app. Within a few minutes l was up and running and able to create a short animation while hand holding the phone. Amazing stability and super super easy to use. Exported movies and shared without any issue whatsoever. Used on an iPhone and an Android device with equal, positive success. Yes the movie may be upside down when exported but this is an easy fix via a multitude of free editing apps that are also easy to use.

I was excited to see this app as a big Aardman fan but unfortunately it's almost unusable. Nearly half the photos are almost pitch black even though it's using my flash because sometimes it takes the photo after the flash has stopped. If I turn off auto focus it turns my flash on and I have to go to my camera to get it to turn off. And with auto focus and auto exposure off it won't even take a picture! Looking at older reviews it doesn't look like the developers care at all. Sad.
