About this game

In Maglev Metro, utilize state-of-the-art magnetic levitation technology to build a metropolitan rail system, transporting workers and robots beneath the city. Replace aging Manhattan and Berlin subway systems with newer, faster, quieter technology. Enhance your rail system's abilities so that your passengers arrive at their destinations first.

Efficiency is your key to success in this pick-up-and-deliver, tile-laying, engine-building game. Transparent tiles allow your route to overlap your opponents' tracks, winding you along from station to station. Robots efficiently upgrade and adjust your abilities, leveraging unique goals to maximize points. By the end of the game, the game board has morphed into a modern subway map, with brightly-colored routes connecting stations all over the city.

Good implementation of the boardgame. UI looks dated but overall functional. Sfx and music are good. Interactive tutorial not much. Better the video one (although lacking) to get an idea of what you're supposed to do. AI doesn't seem challenging in 2p games but it's good with 3p+. You can't pick a name nor color for your player(s) in offline mode. No stats. Doesn't run that smooth on cellphone (S8). Wish for expansions and better color readability for meeples.

Technically a good app, however it just does not feel exciting. The video tutorials are great, however the text version is waay too long. The size is good, the price, does not feel like it costs equal to the excitement. The interface fixes lots of processes, reminds what can be done how much it costs, for that it's good, but the bots have no difficulty scale, also games cannot be saved.

While the app is a great way to learn the game rules, it's not very user friendly and full of bugs. The game I was just playing all of a sudden changed from me controlling green to me controlling blue and thus ruining the game.

What's new

Maglev Metro now automatically saves your offline games! To load a saved game, go to Offline Games in the main menu. If a saved game is found, you will prompted to load your game or start a new one. Note: Only one offline game is saved at a time.

There is also a fix for an issue where the AI would sometimes not take an action on the second to last turn of a game.
